What people tend to forget is that a dictionary is
NOT a grammar book. It only defines HOW words are
used, not whether it is correct or not. After all,
the word "ain't" is also in the dictionary, which
is very appropriate since someone who hears that
word and is unfamiliar with it may want to know
what it means.
