PBW, It sounds as if you were placed in your current position through an agency, Is that correct? If the same agency that placed you wants to move you, then it's their case to make with your present "client". If not, then you'll have to make nice (it sounds as if you have a good relationship with the client anyway), and help them find and possible train a replacement. Can you bridge two contracts part-time for an overlap period?
