If you're worried about missing a new version, check with
your distributer about upgrades. It is the custom for
software companies to sell a version, then give a free
upgrade if a new version comes out within a certain amount
of time after the purchase. Sort of like a pre-sale of the
later version. If the distributer can't offer you a free
upgrade within 3 months, look for another distributer...
Distributers should know if a new version is forthcoming,
even if they can't tell you they do. (While looking, you
might also call Adobe and see what they can tell you... Try
the Adobe office in your locale or country.)
