How about...

"Subscribers cannot be removed if they have one or more dependent mailboxes.
Do you want to delete these mailboxes and the subscriber now?" [OK] [Cancel]

This is easier on the user because it combines the two related functions,
minimizing user interaction. Of course, the programmer will have to modify
the [OK] logic.
