McGraw-Hill used to publish a tiny Style Guide,
originally written for contributors to their Dictionary of
Science and Technology. Unfortunately former is now
out of print. It said that you should always leave a space
between number and units except for % and (degree
symbol), if I remember correctly. Has anyone seen any
such style guide, with guidelines on this sort of thing?
