You might check whether the document contains tables or graphics with dotted

I have a PDF file that my Windows Explorer tells me is
789KB - but when I spool it to our HP 5si printer, the
file size in the print manager window is 23*MB*. (if
I send to another printer, it spools to 3.4 MB or so)

this is particularly confusing since a much larger
document (275 pages to my docs 104 pages) only spools
to 2.30MB. both documents are about equally rich in
graphics.

Can anyone explain why this happens? I'm very
confused, and the size does affect our customer's
ability to print the document.
