TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I have three master pages for an index -- the first page (which has a little
image with word INDEX in it), the left page, and the right page. Each page
has header and footer text frames, and two columns. The columns are
"connected."
When I generate an index, the two columns are suddenly much shorter (by a
couple inches) than designed in the master pages.
Any clues? If anyone has had this experience before, and is willing to take
a look at the file, that would be even better...
TIA,
/M
