Word - possible to create startup message in a template?

Folks,
Today I was working on a template for a simple little travel report. One of
the admins requesting it also asked for an explanatory document, which would
give some advice on how to use the template. (I hope to get eventual
approval for an in-house web site that will have all our templates along
with companion explanataion docs.)
I was able to get most of the information into the File Properties dialog
box. I would like to direct the users to that dialog box so they can add
their own information. I looked around through macros and fields, but I
didn't see anything quite the same as what I want - a popup click-through
information window, directing the user to the properties dialog whenever a
new blank document is created from the template. Or can I set the template
so every time a new document is made from it, that document displays its
properties box first?
I'm using Word 97, but for the customer's sake we have to Save As Word
6.0/95.
Anyone heard of such a thing?
- A
