I asked this very question of my co-workers, where I have just arrived as a
contractor. I have seen both usages in various "shops", and wanted to know
which they prefer. Their preference is "Appendixes". They take it that
"Appendixes" is (in general) an American usage, and "Appendices" is (in
general) a British/European usage. We are Canadian (and so on the
"British/European" side of the line); however, our customers are mostly in
the US. So we used "Appendixes".

My 2c. (2 pence?).
