The answer to your question depends on whether the person who
will use FrameMaker will be designing a template, or using a
pre-existing one. Almost anyone with a basic knowledge of word
processing can input using Framemaker within minutes. Designing's
another matter. Frame isn't quite a way of life, the way that
PhotoShop is, but even experts can usually learn something new
about it.

Another important point: how long Frame takes to learn depends
very much on the person's background. People who have used a
variety of publishing tools or operating systems usually learn
Frame much more quickly than the average person.
