Well, you could point out to the boss (gently, politely, of course)
that using articles correctly indicates that everyone at the company can
speak and write English correctly, which is bound to make you all look
smarter to the customer/user. You could also note, especially if you have
any ESL customers, that the use of articles in English helps clarify the
meaning of sentences.
