Before everyone jumps to conclusion like a horde of lemmings:
When you install FrameMaker, you have the option of installing a
licensed version or an unlicensed demo version. Judging from
these options, Adobe condones, if not encourages, unlicensed
installations.
In other words, the original poster is guilty of piracy only if
his or her friend also supplied a license.
