I agree with John Prince. Director is overkill for simple show-me demos.
The
best reason to use Director is the ability to do custom programming in
Lingo.

If you can produce something in Director with only a couple lines of
Lingo, the same
thing can be done via animation in Flash 4 which is much cheaper and
easier to learn.

Of course, if you've already bought and learned Director then it's wise
to stick
with it since it offers more expandability. But, for a someone making
her first
show-me demo, I wouldn't recommend it.

Just my take on it.
