You should be able to use the same method as for PageMaker, without buying any new software.

1. Make the table pretty in Excel (a challenge, but doable).

2. Print to file (to a PostScript print driver).

Depending on the printer driver, there may be a choice on
the PostScript tab of the printer properties that lets you save as
Encapsulated PostScript (EPS). If so, choose that option and skip to
step 5.

3. Otherwise, Distill the PS (or PRN) file.

4. Open the PDF file and File->Export->PostScript or EPS. Choose EPS.

5. Place the EPS file in Quark.
