Okay, my turn, my turn...

1969. Advertising copywriter. My boss thought he could trust me to write
the TV Guide blurb ads for "The FBI," which was sponsored by Ford, our
client. I'd skim the script for the episode and write a one-sentence
plot summary, playing it as straight as I knew how (as neither Ford nor
the FBI gave me the impression that humor was permissible). There were
consequences one week, however, when I wrote, "Efram Zimbalist, Jr., is
attracted to the woman he is pursuing and goes soft on her."
