Marketing is grammatically correct. "Classes" is a plural
noun, so the grammar calls for "are" (not feasible).
However, if you wanted to phrase it as "training" (a
singular noun), then indeed the word "is" is grammatically
correct. For example, you could replace one word in your
recommendation:
* This training delivery strategy was chosen because
on-site TRAINING for employees and their families is not
feasible.
I don't know your audience/purpose/scenario, but how about
neither? Instead, could you say:
* Because on-site classes for employees and their families
are not feasible, this strategy was chosen to deliver
training.
