Pretty much the same process as any product.

1) Figure out what it is supposed to do.
2) Verify that it does it.
3) Take it all apart.
4) Put it back together and write down what you do as you do it.
5) See if it STILL does what it is supposed to do.
6) If it does, give it to someone else and have them follow
your instructions.
7) If it doesn't and you can't figure out what went wrong,
update your resume and send it to the first 100 agencies
that call you for a new position. Better luck next time.

only kidding on the 7th..kinda :-0

In your case:

1) Remove front wheel.
2) Replace front wheel
3) Drive 10 mph for 1.4 mile
4) Give to someone else
5) Have them drive 90 mph for 30 miles
6) see #7 above.
