I agree with John's comments about the power of Notes. It's great for

setting up a knowledge base and managing documents through an intranet.



I think end users often get discouraged with it because organizations


don't always plan well for the overhead needed to run Notes smoothly.

Basically, it seems like every work group needs their own Notes admin or

developer. If you will be managing a Notes database of documents make

sure you get more than user-level training and get to know your Notes
developers. I had fun developing databases of documents - it's pretty
neat (got paid for it too). Give it a try before you give up on it.
