The 'phone rang at about 8:00 pm. The voice started immediately,
"This
is President Bill Clinton. . . . " and went on to seek my vote, but I had
already hung up before the tape finished the first sentence.
I haven't seen anything in the morning news or heard anything from
others about this telephone solicitation. Has anyone reading this gotten
that same call? I wonder how widespread its use was. - Herm
