As I've already responded, I'll post to the list now.

I came from stand-up training to tech writing and it was a good transition for
me. It enhances your skill set. I also sent Valerie a .pdf of what a training
manual for a technical subject should look like. For example, Objectives, a
Summary, stuff like that.
