It's kind of hard to say, since you don't specify how *much* lower your
salaries are, but I think the only one of those that would sway me is the
40-hour week bit -- I'm more attached to having a life than I am to money.
The rest of it is pretty standard and/or unimportant to me.

If your boss actually considers casual dress a perk in this industry, I have
to assume that s/he has spent the past ten years under a rock. Heck, some
*law firms* have moved to business casual in recent years - can t-shirts be
far behind for them? :-)

flexible work hours
occasional telecommuting acceptable (once a week is the standard)
casual dress
a standard 40-hour week

I would appreciate any responses as soon as possible--I'm mailing out the
salary document and scheduling the meeting today.
