My advice is really simple:
Get what you want from this company (experience, portfolio material, STC
competition entries, whatever), and then run away! This company clearly
doesn't value you or your co-workers, and, based on your boss's comment, has
no intention of valuing you or your co-workers. By extension, this means
that they don't value your work or your contribution. I wonder if your boss
would have taken that job if they were given the same criteria? ("Well, the
pay sucks, but you get to wear jeans, and the coffee's free!")
Don't even waste your time!
