Sure. A number of large- and medium-size companies are doing it with products such as Chrystal Astoria. Most of them
now use SGML, but the only additional requirement to use such a system with XML is that the
database must be able to store Unicoded information.

It's not so much that smaller companies don't need such systems, but that the admission price is
still too high for most of them. But as the need for such systems is more fully recognized and
the development costs come down, more and more small companies can and will get on
board.
