I think it's a safe bet to say that most tech writers
are expected to have a good knowledge of Word,
FrameMaker, and some sort of Help system.

I'm interested to know what other types of
software/hardware/systems you have been called on to
have a knowledge of in your interviews/jobs.

I find that Ethernet and C++ are the skills that I am
expected to know here in NORCAL.

How about where you are?
