I'm interested in pursuing my CIW (Certified Internet
Webmaster) certificate in Site Design and would like
to get some feedback from the list. I am currently a
tech writer, but would like to build upon my tech
writing skills by moving into the web design areas.
This will allow me to create the website as well as be
able to write the content, which I'm doing already.

Are there any list members who have obtained their CIW
and if so, has it been beneficial in your career? Was
the curriculum thorough in teaching you all about the
Internet and design techniques, networking,
e-commerce, etc.?

Any suggestions and feedback would be greatly
appreciated. I haven't signed up for the course just
yet but would like to know if it's worth it to pursue.

Thanks,
Paula
