Also, WINNT and AMD do not seem to get along with each other too well.
This from my personal experience using an AMD K6-2 300mHz processor. Of
course, this may have been resolved in the last couple of years since I
bought this "top of the line machine". My, my how soon technology becomes
obsolete these days. Yesterday I began thinking about getting a new hard
drive for my machine. When I bought it 2 years ago, I thought 4 or 6 gigs
was plenty, now I'm looking at 20 gig and trying to convince myself that I
shouldn't go for a 30 gig'er!!

<One caveat about the AMD chips, made without judgement: FrameMaker often
won't run on them and Adobe doesn't support FrameMaker on them.

Cheers,
