Hi Michele,

When you print to PDF Writer directly, FrameMaker splits the book into
individual pdfs for each file. This doesn't allow you to have automatic
bookmarks, or linked TOC, index and cross-references.

To avoid this, print to the Acrobat Distiller printer and select Print to
File. Next, open the resulting file (.ps, .prn or .eps)in the Distiller
program and generate the pdf.
