Re the unwanted styles returning, IF you are copying text with the unwanted
styles from one document (the "from document") to another (the "new
document"), the unwanted styles are getting recreated as you paste in the
"new document". So apply normal style to the text in "from document" before
you copy/paste to "New document".
TIP: If you have lots to do, first copy a bit of text with "wanted style" to
the "From document" (this gives you the "wanted style" in the "from
document") then apply that wanted style to some/all the text (you can undo
or not save later if necess), then copy/paste text to "New Document (thus
bringing only the wanted style to "new document".
If this is complicated it's the Xmas cheer affecting my reasoning ability!
