I joined the Frame game after 3 years of using only Word. I stumbled through
numerous books and manuals before I found one that didn't confuse and scare the
bejeezes out of me:

Mastering FrameMaker 5 by Thomas Neuburger.

I found the Dummies book helpful in getting aquainted with what Frame was
capable of, and then I moved on to Mastering FrameMaker 5 (we use 5.5.6 here) to
learn how to get the job done properly. Mastering FM 5 is currently out of
print, but the author can give you information on how to get a reprinted copy.
Neuberger recently finished Mastering FrameMaker 6 and it should be on the
market soon, if it's not already.

Title: The Masters Series: FrameMaker 6

Hope this helps,
