Signs That You Might Be Hooked Up With A Bad Agency
You might be involved with a bad agency if:
-Their phone number connects to a pay phone.
-Their phone number collects to a telemarketing agency.
-You can only call them collect, and then only between
the hours of 11:00 and 1:00 during the week.
-They want you to pay them for copying your resume.
-They want you to pay them for rewriting your resume.
-They rewrite your resume without your knowledge, let alone your
permission.
-They don't know what email is.
-Their email address ends in any of the following: aol.com,
hotmail.com, yahoo.com, younglove.com, dueycheatemanhow.com.
-They offer you a paper route and want their 25% off the top.
-You get calls in the middle of the night promising to break your
fingers if the project isn't completed by Friday, especially if you
don't even have a contract yet.
-They reimburse you for expenses with Burger King coupons.
-They sell your name to telemarketers or multilevel marketers.
-They ask if you have any Food Service experience.
-Their application asks you to provide 10 references from C++
Programmers.
I'm sure there are other signs, but I'm also sure that these are
agencies you might not want to work for. <g>
