I'm trying to create an Adobe Acrobat .pdf that has hot links (bookmarks)
for index entries in addition to hot links for TOC entries. In other words,
I want my users to be able to click a page number reference in my index and
jump to the entry on the page. Doable? Impossible?
Here's what I tried. While using Adobe Distiller to create a .pdf from a
Word2000 doc (with D2H 2000 on top), I set Bookmarks for my index styles in
addition to my TOC styles. I followed the procedure to the letter. However,
when I look at the result, I have no index bookmarks while the TOC bookmarks
work just fine! Any insights? I tried to find an answer in the techwr-l
archives and thru Adobe, but didn't find what I needed to know. Thanks for
