BTW,
While I'm thinking about it, your CAD and Gerber files are vectors, right?
So, using a bitmapped format, especially a lossy one like JPEG, would
produce poor output.
Try going to EPS or WMF instead of JPEG, GIF, BMP, or TIFF (etc.).
