<<I have installed Windows 2000 professional on my system. However, I am not
comfortable with MS Office 2000 because previously Word 2000 running in 98
gave us trouble before.>>

I don't know if this helps you, but we are currently using Windows 2000
Professional, Office 2000, and RoboOffice 2000 and have had no problems to
speak of. We recently upgraded all PCs for the TW staff and they all came
with both Windows 2000 professional and Office 2000 installed. Prior to
that, we were running Windows 98 and Office 97, and we remained with that
setup until our recent PC upgrade.
