Thanks for the warning, Jo. Luckily, for this particular client, there's little pre-existing history.

We have no existing pdfs to convert. Of course we WILL have pdfs, so please let me know what happens with yours.

Oh, and the knock-wood I attached to that "happily ever after" ( http://www.armadillosoft.com/booksetc/into_the.shtml )is to explain that it's been a very long time since I believed in happily ever after. However, "happily ever after" is the magical phrase that is supposed to be at the end of narratives of mythical scope, so (since I aspire to that) I put it there anyway.
