Still, at least it's not a TLA...

One of the things I do towards the end of a project is go through the
manual(s) and check that every acronym is included in the glossary and give
the meaning. Sometimes this is easy. Sometimes this entails looking up scads
of TLAs in several different acronym-checkers and working out (from context)
which is the most *likely* meaning. Then checking it with the developer who
used the TLA (who may not herself be clear about the meaning of the TLA used
- it's just MUD, we always say MUD, isn't that clear as MUD?)

just curious about this use of OT as an acronym. People presumably mean it
as "off topic", but it could also stand for "on topic"; the opposite
meaning.
