As a technical writer, I don't find my Palm all that useful. As a person,
it's tremendously useful. I no longer stress about all the things I have to
remember to do (groceries, dry cleaning, post office, etc.).

Maybe it's because my Visor was given to me as a personal gift. Maybe I have
some hidden prejudice against using personal things for work. But I've got
paper around my cube that I use to keep track of my "to do's".
