To all:

The purpose of a Resume is to get the interview. If you think about what would be important to you if
you were a supervisor wanting someone for the job being offered/sought and format the experience to
meet those needs, honestly, truthfully and with a focus on measurable results not titles and fluff then
you should be able to list experience you have received anywhere regardless of the situation.

When they ask you about it then tell them. Of course by then you have the interview! Objective achieved!

I would just list it under experience. If you accurately describe the job
you did, what difference does it make whether you got paid in money or in
some other type of compensation (e.g., satisfaction, learning, karma,
barter, etc.)? Unless the work was somehow less rigorous than other jobs, I
see no need to specify the type of pay you received. Anymore than you would
have a section headed: Underpaid Jobs.
