Asking for benefits is like discrimination. If you are going to be
discriminated against, its better that it happens in the interview than on
the job. And, if you want something in your pay package, anything at all,
ask for it during salary negotiations, or you won't get it. If they use MS
Word, and you want to use Frame, ask for it during negotiations. The day you
sign the contract is the day you have no pull, and no longer have to
pandered to. It will be a while before you build up some credibility and
influence.
