The AutoCAD tutorials are difficult to use, because (guess what!) AutoCAD
is difficult to use. Takes years to become thoroughly proficient with it. I
would suggest that you would be better served to use a simpler tool to
create your schematics. Many flow charting tools include libraries of
symbols for schematics drawn to a variety of standards. And, being much
easier to learn and use than AutoCAD, you'll be able to devote your time to
learning the systems your engineers have drawn up and getting the
schematics correct.
Just one alternative...there are others.

Subject: AutoCAD Tutorials
I get to teach myself AutoCAD using the tutorials, so that I can create
schematics from the engineers' drawings. So I'm an English major not an
engineer ... I don't mind learning. But I'm finding the AutoCAD tutorials
difficult to use. The animations are very slow, and flipping between the
online help and the application to try the exercises is inconvenient. Does
anyone have experience using the AutoCAD tutorials, have any suggestions
for
how to make my life easier these next few weeks?
