A great deal of our wiring diagrams are created in AutoCad. I am
incharge in producing Service and Installation Bulletins that require
wiring diagrams.
Our supplier will ask for both a Windows Meta File (.WMF) and DXF file.
They will take either or both and import them into Illustrator.

The final Bulletin will be created in Quarkx and output as a PDF.

In Illustrator you can play with line widths and color etc.

As simple as it sounds, Word and a WMF file have worked for us for
years...

Stephen Parkes
