Some of you may recall my plea for help as a new tech writer in a Lotus
Notes environment.

I received a few responses, mostly along the lines of "Oh, me too, please
help!", but two very useful responses from Carol Lawless
(carol -dot- lawless -at- clarica -dot- com) and Amy Smith (Amy_Smith -at- lotus -dot- com). Carol is
offering a list of "how to" documents that they use at their company when
developing Lotus help and Amy pointed me to notes.net for a R5 Help
Template.

I think what we have decided on is to produce the documentation in Frame,
then create PDF and XML output from it. PDF goes to the printer, XML gets
imported into a Domino database as the help file. Of course, this could all
be wild conjecture at this point and in six months I'll be cutting and
pasting Lotus help topics from Word, but let's hope not.
