Most trademarks are used as adjectives and not nouns. For example:
Kleenex(R) tissues or WeedEater(R) cordless trimmer. This rule would
eliminate the possibility of making plurals of possessives out of them.

I don't know if they still do, but Writer's Digest used to have a lot of ads
from companies that wanted to stress their trademarks as such.
