In this position you will be responsible for
Developing, writing, and editing software
documentation by performing the following duties:
Ø Research, develop, and write content for Functional Specifications
document.
Ø Work closely with Design Analysts to elicit conceptual design of
proposed enhancement or
application.
Ø Interpret, organize, and document use case scenarios.
Ø Formulate and document functional requirements.
Ø Prepare written documents following standard guidelines for technical
publications.
Ø Create graphical images, flow carts, and diagrams for inclusion in
documentation.
Ø Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to
be performed by the
application and personnel.
Ø Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps
required to develop
or modify the application.
Ø Plan and prepare technical reports and instruction manuals, as needed,
as the application
is developed or enhanced.
Ø Coordinate layout and organization of documentation.
Ø Review and revise previously created documentation.
Ø Review, edit, and proofread materials written by others.
Ø Review quality of final product before release to technical staff.
Ø Interview programmers, developers, and other technical personnel to
become familiar with
product technology and development methods.
Ø Maintain understanding of applications and levels of user proficiency.

Major/Degree: Minimum requirement B.S./B.A.

Required: FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat

Additional requirements:
Minimum of three years of technical writing
experience. Experience writing technical
documentation including functional specifications
and functional requirements is required. We are
seeking an individual with a solid technical
background, who is analytical and can write for
a multi-national technical audience.
