Acrobat 5 can make version 4 and, I believe, version 3 compatible PDFs.
Thus, you can continue to make Acrobat Reader version 4 compatible PDFs as
you move forward with the much enhanced version 5 of the full product. I
recommend you head over to adobe.com or the Adobe User to User Forums to
check specifically what is supported by this tool
(http://www.adobe.com/support/forums/main.html).
