Hi,
In response to:
Does anybody on this list use your technical communication skills in fields
other than software, hardware, or
networking?

I have a PR/Marketing Firm and use technical communication skills (am in the
process of getting my Tech Com degree). Tech companies send their
product/service materials to me, and I write them in basic reader lingo,
then send them to the press. Often I need to interview engineers and other
techies, then translate the material into reading for the general public.
It's a lot of fun, though, communicating with both sides!

Hope that helps some...,
