Here it is for Windows (you'll have to adapt the clicking instructions if
you're using a Mac):
1. Highlight the paragraph.
2. Right click.
3. Select "Bullets and Numbering" from the popup menu.
>From there you should be able to select/modify your bullet style.

Subject: Bullet corruption in Word
I'm on deadline (I have about an hour left to finish formatting this doc,
which came with a messy template) and suddenly, the bullets in my Word 2000
file have turned into question marks. First I thought only the style was
corrupted, but even using the standard bullet toolbar button produces only
question marks.
