It has often been debated here (and so very unnecessary to do again) whether

one is a better tech writer if they have an excellent knowledgebase of
technology
or if they are proficient in writing tools.

Well, here is an example of the importance of knowing your tools. I am sure
that
everyone who takes the time to check this out (even you Andrew - hee, hee)
will
agree that a good solid knowledge of tools cannot be unestimated.
