has an excellent section on page geometry. A danger of setting text in landscape is to have textblocks that are too wide and therefore hard to read; one way of countering this is to set extra white space in the outside margin and place small graphics there.

Have you any URLs or references about the design of landscape text?

I've checked a couple of Robert Parker's books which I generally find quite
useful. But he doesn't cover this topic.
