Bob - Be grateful you have a job at the moment, and are being paid the nice
rate that Sun traditionally pays its good producers. I'd suggest you simply
donate the use of your PC and try to write off the machine hours as a business
expense on your personal taxes.
As contractors (sometimes at Sun), we use our machines in our clients' work
routinely, and we don't charge them anything for machine use. Nor do we charge
them for our DSL service or any other ordinary business expense. We figure we
make it up in hours.
If Sun is trying to economize, how about offering to split the cost of ISDN
service with them, for now, in return for some other benefit?
