The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I hate to sound curmudgeon-ish, but I paid a marketing company several
thousand dollars to help develop that strategy. And it is a good one. It
works.
These strategies are our way to generate business. Why should we share
proprietary information to help you out - and help a potential competitor?
If any of my people shared this info with you, they are in violation of
their NDA...
Not to sound mean, but I think you need to get in the trenches and see what
works by doing it... Or, since it is a plan, ask the people starting the
company what they think they will use. Or hire a marketing company and have
them help with that.
But I have been up since 5am and just drank the last of the caffeine coffee.
Perhaps that is a good thing.
